The complexity of modern video calling is the biggest barrier keeping grandparents isolated from family. Most apps bury calling behind menus, notifications, and privacy settings. MiNonna flips that - one tap, and you're connected. That simplicity removes the friction that's kept non-tech-savvy users off video calls for years. This solves a real loneliness problem, not just a feature request.
Exactly! 100%
Thanks, mate!

It's great to see MiNonna simplifying video calls for older adults, particularly with the 'one-tap' concept. Beyond the initial setup, what strategies does MiNonna employ to ensure that users not only adopt the app easily but also maintain consistent engagement and feel truly empowered, rather than just tolerating a 'simplified' experience?
Just tolerating a 'simplified' experience? That's an interesting way to put it.
Let's just say that I tried to simplify as much as possible (one single tap on the app icon) the experience of videocalling,
removing the friction of classical UX of messaging/calling products. Older adults are systematically neglected by technology "solutions". This is a step in the opposite direction. If the product sticks, a new habit will form and this will embody the empowerment you are referring to.

Congrats on the launch! the name seems very Italian. Is it made by an Italian out of curiosity?
The landing page is really good looking and polished.
If you have released in all countries available on the store, then consider using regional prices. I talk more about it on my site https://pricepush.app . I think it will be useful for you :-)
Best of luck!
Fellow Italian here, indeed :)
I will definitely check https://pricepush.app.
Thanks for the feedback.
