Before they leave, ask what they'd pay. A link for customers on their way out.

What HAGGIN does

Most SaaS pricing has two outcomes: they pay list price, or they leave. HAGGIN is for the second group. Before they leave, they make an offer.

How it works

  1. Paste your pricing page and get a Haggin back: a negotiation page with its own link, your plans and your list price already in. Or set it up yourself in two questions.

  2. Put the link where people leave: the trial-ending email, the cancel flow, your reply to "too expensive", the quote nobody answered.

  3. Offers arrive in your inbox, structured: price, seats, annual or lifetime, plus extras like a testimonial, a case study or a post to their audience. Each one shows as a % of your list price.

  4. Accept, counter or pass. A counter is a full new proposal, not a chat message.

  5. On a deal, paste your own payment link. The buyer pays you directly.

What it is not

  • Not a discount for everyone. Someone who was going to pay list never sees the link, and your list price never moves.

  • Not a marketplace. You bring your own customers.

  • Not a payment middleman. We never touch the money.

  • Not a chat. Two or three moves and it's a deal, or it isn't.

Who it's for

SaaS companies that sell online and keep losing people who wanted the product, just not at list price: trials that never convert, customers who hit cancel, "too expensive" replies, quotes that go quiet. Also launches and pricing experiments.

Pricing

By Haggins, never by negotiations. Offers and deals are always unlimited. Free trial with no card. Campaign $19 once. Pro $29/month. Business $99/month.

And yes, our own price is negotiable: hagg.in/h/th7cgniw5mb8

hi everyone,I am a PM,there is my point:

Pros

  1. The problem is real

As indie SaaS products, expert-led services, and one-person businesses continue to grow, more products are being sold directly through standardized pricing pages. Inevitably, there is a group of potential customers who are willing to buy, but eventually walk away because the price doesn’t meet their expectations.

HAGGIN targets exactly these users who might otherwise be lost completely. That said, the product is still at a very early stage, and the actual demand has yet to be fully validated.

  1. Asynchronous negotiation fits the way one-person businesses operate

Compared with live chat support, HAGGIN turns price negotiation into a structured, asynchronous workflow. Sellers don’t need to stay online or respond in real time—they can simply review offers periodically.

This can significantly reduce the operational burden for small teams and solo operators.

Cons

  1. Making negotiation visible may hurt full-price conversions

If “Negotiate the price” becomes a permanent option on the pricing page, it may create a new problem: users who would otherwise have accepted the listed price may start expecting a discount.

Once customers realize that the price is negotiable, the anchoring effect of the fixed price becomes weaker. This creates a dilemma:

  • If the listed price is already reasonable and there is little room for negotiation, the feature only adds operational overhead for the seller while potentially creating a negative experience for buyers whose offers are rejected.

  • If sellers intentionally raise the listed price to leave room for negotiation, they may weaken the product’s price competitiveness and reduce direct purchase conversion.

Therefore, price negotiation is better positioned as a targeted mechanism for users who are likely to churn, rather than a default purchasing option visible to everyone.

  1. The current product moat is relatively weak

At this stage, HAGGIN’s core functionality is essentially a structured offer form + email notifications.

For indie makers with development capabilities, building something similar is not particularly difficult. As a result, relying solely on the “price negotiation tool” itself may not be enough to build a sustainable long-term moat.

Thanks for this. It's the most useful feedback I've had since launching.

You're right about the pricing page. Three people have told me the same thing this week, and I'm changing where I recommend putting the link: end of trial, cancel flow, dead deals, and campaigns where you're already discounting, like Black Friday... Not next to Buy now by default. The list price never moves, but if everyone sees the option, the expectation changes anyway. My copy was pushing sellers the wrong way.

On the moat you're right too. A form plus emails is a weekend of work. What isn't: offers that are immutable and sequenced, counters that are full proposals with frozen terms, each offer shown as a % of list. And long term it isn't the form, it's what you learn from hundreds of offers, what people actually pay and what they give instead of money. I'm 4 days in with none of that data, so today the criticism stands.

One thing I'd ask you: during a launch week, would you still keep it visible to everyone? And if you're building something with a price on it, tell me and I'll set you up with Pro for a while. I want more feedback at this level 🤝
